Stakeless Testimine

Fluke 1623-2 maandustesti suudab mõõta maandussilmuste takistusi ainult klambrite abil. Selle katsemeetodi puhul asetatakse kaks klambrit ümber maandusmaandusvarda ja mõlemad ühendatakse testeriga. Maanduspiire ei kasutata üldse. Ühe klambriga indutseeritakse teadaolev, fikseeritud pinge ja teise klambriga mõõdetakse voolu. Seejärel määrab tester automaatselt kindlaks maandatud varraste takistuse. See katsemeetod töötab ainult siis, kui katsetataval hoonel või konstruktsioonil on ühendatud maandussüsteem, kuid enamasti on see olemas. Kui on ainult üks tee maanduseni, nagu paljudes elamutes, ei anna Stakeless-meetod vastuvõetavat väärtust ja tuleb kasutada fall-of-potential-katsemeetodit.

Stakeless-katsete puhul ei ole vaja maandusvarda lahti ühendada, mistõttu ühendatud maandussüsteem jääb katse ajal puutumata. Möödas on aeg, mil tuli kulutada aega iga süsteemi maandusvarda paigutamiseks ja ühendamiseks - see on suur aja kokkuhoid.
